When musician/DJ Todd Dillingham sought me out on the Web and asked me to add banjo to one of his songs, I assumed he was crazy. Nevertheless, I dusted off that old four string turkey and my slumbering ego and, after investing in a cheap microphone, overdubbed my part onto his psychedelic track. He was delighted and I found myself in a home recording frenzy! I suddenly was able to make my old songs sound fresh again and found motivation to write new ones as well.
Todd introduced me to Wim Oudijk in the Netherlands and to mid-westerner Bob Wilson who lent their fabulous talents as producers to what began to shape up as the "Homeward" CD. I got in touch with old friends Rob Wallace, Scott Bennett and Tom Virtue, musicians and producers all, who likewise did wonders with my tracks.
